So when I decided that my kitchen needed more storage space, it gave me a
new place to think about and work on.
I wanted something that would give my small kitchen more storage space.
I decided to build an open shelving display/storage unit.

It's been functioning for quite a while, it's just the little details I need to finish.
One of those details is storage for my plethora of washi tape.

Nashville Antique and Garden Show with Style Blue Print
Last week I had an amazing opportunity to go to the Nashville Antique and Garden Show.
While I was there, I was able to sit in on a panel with some top names in the design industry.

I am just a lowly girl that blogs.
I am not fancy at all.
For heaven's sake- my blog's name is She's Crafty. I'm a crafty girl. Not a designer.
So I felt super lucky to be there.
I could not believe I was in the same room as these huge name designers.
After the quick welcoming talk, we moved to a different room, overlooking the entire show, for a champagne reception. (or diet coke in my case)
This was a very intimate gathering where we actually got to chat, face to face, with these very talented, and well known men and women.
I took tons of notes. Some of my favorite quotes were:

After the panel discussion, I was able to walk around the showroom
and look at the amazing gardens and antiques.
There were so many things I wanted to take home, including these amazing topiaries.
The champagne (diet coke) reception was hosted by Style Blue Print,
who just launched a new app in the Apple app store.
The SB App includes Happenings around town as well as information for local businesses – you can even save your favorite spots!
You can use your SB App when you are traveling around the South. City guides for Nashville, Birmingham and Memphis are available now, and more will be coming in the months ahead.
The SB App allows you to look for places close to you or plan a night out by neighborhood.

The app has beacon technology. When a customer is near a beacon, the SB App will activate. Once activated, the SB App will send a push notification to the user with your SB Insider tip.
Also the app customer will receive a push notification when his or her device comes into contact with the beacon.
So in short, if you're new to Nashville, Memphis or Birmingham, this app would be essential to find what's happening in the area, the best restaurants and shopping. So fun!
