Paint Dipped Flower Vase and link party

I'm ready for sunshine, colorful plants and being outside.  But since it's still pretty chilly here in TN, I'll have to settle for adding Spring indoor! Today I'm sharing Brightly colored, Paint dipped flower vases!

How to Paint Dip a glass vase for Spring Decor

This is a really inexpensive and simple project!  Each vase cost a little less than $2. And you can customize the paint colors to any event or holiday you want to decorate for.

I started with these glass vases from the dollar store.

For the paint, I put foil inside a ceramic cereal bowl.

I poured craft paint into the tinfoil bowl and watered it down just a bit.

Then I dipped the vase into the paint in the bowl.  I rolled it around until the lower portion of the vase was completely covered.

I repeated the same process with 2 other colors.  I sat the vases on a dollar store drying rack with foil underneath to catch the drips.  I let the vases dry for several hours.  Then I flipped them over, touched up the paint on the bottom slightly, and let the vases dry for several more hours.

A small bit of paint leaked through the foil into the bowl below.

But it washed out very easily with soap and water.

I love the way the vases turned out with a few faux tulips in them.

I love the bright colors! Perfect for Spring!

I love the rough edges of the paint!

I love how they could be customized with any color!

These paint dipped vases make the perfect Spring Table Centerpiece!
