Can you believe it's less than 2 weeks until Thanksgiving? I'm so excited for the big day! I've got some ideas for how to decorate your table for Thanksgiving!
I was sent products from Oriental Trading Company in exchange for the blog post. All opinions and ideas are my own.
I started with chalkboard paper as a table runner down the center of my table.
We can use chalkboard markers to write things we are thankful for on our table! Then I added a lighted leaf garland from OTC.
For the centerpiece I used a wooden-like charger on top of a large dessert stand. Then I layered on tissue paper leaves, candles and tea lights.
I got some branches from my yard and stuck them in some vases with white beans.
For each place setting, I used a wooden charger, a white plate and clear dessert plate that I put tissue paper leaves on the back. I also used a buffalo check handkerchief as a napkin.
Each place setting also has a chalkboard turkey for a place holder.
How to make a Cardstock Utensil Holder for Thanksgiving Table
I added a cardstock utensil holder at each place setting.
- Cut a piece of cardstock 4 inches by 12 inches.
- Fold up (hamburger style) to make a pocket.
- Cut a piece of self adhesive chalkboard paper into a 1 inch strip and wrap it around the cardstock to hold the pocket.
- Glue tissue paper leaves onto the front of the pocket.
