Today I'm sharing another part of my Spring Home Tour.
I've had so much fun refreshing my home
for the season and I am
excited to invite you all in!
No home is perfect.
If I had a bunch of time and money,
there are so many things I would change.
I'd like different couches, a bigger rug, ship lap on the walls, etc.
But I am trying to enjoy the house I have and decorate it with love!
This gray hutch is one of my favorite pieces in my home.
I bought it years ago at a yard sale for $30.
It's been painted many colors.
I even separated the pieces and had them in different rooms.
I brought them back together
and gave it all a coat of gray paint.
(I mixed a bunch of leftover paint together to create this color.)
I gathered items around my home to decorate the shelves.
A great way to change the look of a hutch
like this is to change the back of it.
I purchased 6 pieces of 12 x 12 scrapbook paper,
and simply taped them to the backboard.
I gathered some eggs into a jar,
and some white bunnies for this vignette.
A favorite is this vintage chicken feeder that
I filled with dried hydrangeas from my garden.
I Springified this side of the room
by adding a wreath to my grain sifters.
This chippy blue table is my newest addition to my home.
I found it at the Nashville Flea Market.
I kept it in the original finish.
I cleaned it by scrubbing it with a brush and then a cloth.
Then I applied a few coats of
acrylic top coat to protect it.
This is another spot I added some Spring to my home decor.
I added a cute Springy quote to my letter board
on our Picture Ledge Shelves.
Can't get more springy than some tulips in a bucket!!
That's my home decorated for Spring.
