At the beginning of the year, we started a new program of Home Centered Church Supported Gospel Learning. It's a big change from what we've done in the past and is a big responsibility for a busy family. But it's so so so good!
For the past few weeks I've been changing up how our family studies the Gospel and one way that helps is by making a Come Follow Me printable to hang on the fridge where everyone in my family can see.

I love the new Come Follow Me program for individuals and families! The church is so awesome! (Thank you!) The lessons are already broken down into the week that we are supposed to be studying.
I read through the lesson and pick out the things that I feel are most important to my family, then I make a printable with the information supplied. My formula for making the printable is as follows:
How to make a COME FOLLOW ME Printable for your family
- photo from the lesson
- main scriptures
- bullet points
- questions
- quotes
- action item
I also made a magnet to hang the printable on my fridge.
How to make a Come Follow Me Fridge Magnet
gather supplies
- wood strips (similar here)
- stain
- white paint pen
- magnets
Cut a piece of wooden trim down to 7.5" x 1.5". Stain it with Red Mahogany Stain. With a paint pen, write Come Follow Me. Glue ceramic magnets to the back.
I chose to put the printable on my fridge because it's the #1 place that is seen in my house!
Everyone can glance at it as they look for a snack in the fridge, or fill their water cup.
We are only 2 weeks in to the new program but so far it is working!
