Living Room Spring Home Tour - Vintage Garden Style

If you're looking for some Spring Living Room inspiration, you've come to the right place.  Today I have my Living Room Decorated for Spring.

Spring Home Tour - Living Room

This year for my spring décor, I am going with a vintage garden theme.  I can't get enough crusty clay pots, plants, flowers, baskets, etc.  I gathered my collections and puttered around the living room until it came out the way I planned.

Brown Leather Couches.  We have had our brown leather couches for years and years.  They might not be the most stylish couches, but man oh man, they are super comfortable.  I like to accent them with light colored throw pillows.

Over in this corner I have my collection of grain sifters and embroidery hoops above my collection of milk boxes.  I also have a little basket of blankets tucked behind the couch.

Painted Cupboard.  I bought this cupboard many years ago at a yard sale for $30.  I have painted it so many times- it has been black, light blue, gray, off white and now white.  The white is my favorite.   I always tucked it on the sides of the room.  But when I needed a space for my Christmas tree, I centered it on the board and batten wall. I didn't think it would look good sitting there, but I'm so happy with how it looks centered on the wall.

On the bottom shelf of the cupboard, I placed my collection of books.  On the first shelf, I layered on a black shutter and my chicken feeder full of vintage bottles.  On the second shelf, I layered stacks of vintage dishes.

In the background of the dish stacks, I placed vintage platters.  On top of the cupboard, I placed some DIY topiaries and wicker suitcases. Behind the cupboard, I placed some vintage windows.  I was able to place them on board and batten to hold them.

On the other side of the cupboard is our leather chair, which is the comfiest chair ever.  Behind the chair, is my chalkboard/gardening vignette.

Chalkboard/Gardening Vignette  This is my nod to a potting bench.  I used my flea market table with a cubby on top with mini clay pots tucked in.  I did a little tray with an ironstone pitcher of lavender and a Spring flashcard.  I placed one of my plant babies, a pothos on top of the cubby.  On the wall, I did a gallery wall with thrifted chalkboards and a letterboard.

Hardware Cabinet.  Ok, here's my baby, my hardware cabinet!  This beauty is a flea market find.  I loved the color and the charming writing on the drawers, so I just top coated the cabinet.    On top I placed my newest plant baby, Ivy.  I also placed a vintage typewriter, a DIY sign made with this tutorial and a DIY tiered tray.

DIY Tiered Tray.   I made a tiered tray, like this one, from cake pans.  On the tiered tray, I placed a collection of clay pots.  I added a chicken wire cloche (tutorial coming soon), a mini watering can, a super cute boot vase the I picked up at a local boutique and wooden holder, holding a flash card.

My sweet little baby Lizzie is the best part of any Home Tour!  She makes everything look so much better!
