This is a super easy and inexpensive art piece to make for St. Patrick's Day. You know I'm all about the easy projects for the holidays.
I started with a wooden picture frame that I painted green. You could use spray paint, but I'm old school and like to apply craft paint with sponge brushes.
While waiting for the paint to dry, you can work on the inside of the art. Using a heart paper punch, cut out 4 hearts from 4 different patterned papers. This is the perfect project to use up some scraps of paper.
Attach the paper hearts to a white piece of paper, with the bottoms of the hearts touching. Use a marker to write "Lucky" along the bottom of the art and then add a stem. (I drew it first in pencil, traced over the lines with a marker, then erased the pencil)
That's how easy it is to whip up a cute little St Patrick's Day art from paper scraps!
