Hey friends!

Chalk Painted Wooden Bowl
project with you today!

I've had this thrifted wooden bowl in
my stash for a while.
I really like the shape of it,
but the finish needed help!
I found these little bottles of
chalk paint.
My favorite thing to use for paint
is these *small plastic condiment cups.
When I'm done painting, I just throw them away!!
With chalk paint, there is no need to
prime the piece to be painted.
Chalk paint goes on very smoothly and thick!
After the paint was dry,
I sanded the edges.
I love the way the edges look distressed!
The finish after chalk paint dries is very matte so it
needs a top coat.
I gave my bowl a coat of
clear wax.
The bowl looks so much better painted!
I love the way it turned out!!
I loved the chalk paint so much that I
decided to do another quick project!
I had this frame under my bed
for months.
After a quick coat of paint,
it looks so much better!

Post will be coming soon.
