Christmas Home Tour
Part 1
Outside and Living Room
Hey friends!!
Today I'm so excited to share
the first part of my Christmas Home Tour.
I wish I could invite you all in
have a treat and spend some time chatting!
If you can't come over in person,
a photo home tour will have to do!
I have a little tree and bucket vignette
to greet you on the front porch.
I always have to include my vintage plaid cooler.
It's my fave!
I stuck some candycanes in one of the planters
with some sticks and evergreen stems.
Come on in the door and welcome to our home!
This is the first view seen when walking in.
This little scene is right next to the door.
This really 'TIS the season to by joyful!
Next to the entry table is our tree!
I simplified a little more than usual.
I used Christmas pennants, wooden words, red balls
felt ball garland and a jingle bell garland.
I love putting my tree in a galvanized bucket!
I used a real bucket with a tree stand (similar here) amazon affiliate link
instead of the stand that comes with the tree.
The windows above the board and batten
are a focal point.
I love to add wreaths, lighted and other, hung with ribbon.
The gray cabinet is a favorite place to decorate!
I covered the background with patterned paper.
I'm slow to this discovery,
but I have found a new love for fairy lights!
I found a bunch of red and green books at Goodwill.
The little truck is one that
my husband played with as a child!
I found the vintage red bulbs at Goodwill as well.
I filled a jar with them, white bulbs and some glittered green.
I always have to have these up.
This is the reason for the season!
Joy abounds during the holiday season!
I will probably always have these Little People
out to decorate! They are the best!
On the opposite wall is our stocking advent calendar.
I added the ceramic houses from Target,
a homemade JOY art piece and
our Little People Nativity.
I'll be back later this week with the rest of our home tour!
