Christmas Home Tour 2017, part 2

Christmas Home Tour
Part 2
Dining Room, Kitchen, half bath

red and green dishes, farmhouse shelves, open shelving

Merry Christmas!

My halls are finally done being decked.
Well, that is until I decided to switch something up! :)

treat station, dining room, snowglobe

Today we're starting in my dining room.
Our sliding glass doors are in this room
so there's so much natural light!

bottle brush trees, jingle bell garland

Our faux mantel is in the dining room.

bottle brush trees, wooden sign

I pulled out my bottle brush tree collection.

farm fresh Christmas trees sign, bottle brush trees, mantel

I made the Farm Fresh Christmas Trees sign.

I moved my little kitchen tree underneath
the mantel.

rusty light fixture, chandelier, garland

I added a glittery garland to my dining room light.

snow globes, stained table, dining room, christmas

Remember my stained table?
I'm so happy to have it on full display
with Christmas decor.

For the table, I used a distressed red
shutter as the base for snow globes.
I just can't get enough of these.

The trucks in the jars were
my husband's when he was little.

My Christmas treat station is here as well.
Grab a little something, something as we continue the tour.

picture shelves, DIY built in shelves

I love filling our built in shelves and cabinet
with family photos.

I made the lighted block with photoshop.
It's our family photo and I LOVE the way it turned out!
The carved Santa is handmade
by one of my husband's uncles.
The manger scene is a past project.
The vintage baking powder can is filled with faux stems
that are super real looking.

family photos, built in shelves, merry christmas felt garland

I hung the felt Merry Christmas
sign from the Target Dollar Spot here.
I made the Merry Christmas sign,
like this one.

Did you notice that Christmas is spelled wrong?
I pulled it right out of the package like this.
I think it's hilarious so I'm keeping it!

black cabinets, vintage decor

Moving on to the kitchen.

red and green scales, red and green dishes

The focal point is my farmhouse shelves.
Always my fave place to decorate!

red and green dishes, candy cane, holly jolly bakery

With an old cutting board I found at Goodwill,
I spelled out Holly Jolly Bakery
and painted over it.

I  found the small candy cane tree at Walmart.

black kitchen cabinets, enamel ware bucket for utensils

I added a bottle brush tree above the cabinets.

greenery, battery operated lights, bottle brush tree

I also added some greenery
along with some battery operated lights.

I added some vinyl to our cookie jar
to say Candy Cane Confections.

painted gingerbread house, cake plate, glass dome

I found the ceramic house at Walmart.
It's one of those houses from a village.
I spray painted it brown, then high lighted
the snow with white paint and glitter.

I even added a few little things to our
small half bath.
I made a topiary from Christmas holly stems.
Then I used a little fabric Christmas tree
that was given to me a long time ago.
