Cookies are something
I give out to my friends and neighbors every year!
I'm always looking for a new delivery method.
This year I decided to customize
glass plates to deliver them.
I found some glass plates that were perfect.
Actually they are more like platters or pie plates, but perfect still!
You can get something similar here*.
I cut a snowflake from vinyl
with my silhouette*.
After applying it to the bottom of the plate,
I sprayed just the bottom with frosted glass spray paint*.
I used the inside of the stencil and
the outside of the stencil on
a different plate.
I applied 2 coats of spray paint.
It dries really quickly!
Both plates turned out great!
I made DIY gift tags from
I used a paper trimmer*,
3/4" circle punch - similar here
and a regular paper punch.
I cut the cardstock into 2" x 3.5" pieces.
Then I punch a 3/4" circle and glued it to the
end of the tag.
Then I punched a hole into it.
The trick for making a DIY tag
is to cut one corner,
then use that piece to cut the other corner so they match.
Then I took a snowflake punch similar here*,
turned it upside down (so I could see where I was punching)
and punched a snowflake.
Then I glued the snowflake back onto
the tag to create dimension.
I put small dots of glue onto the
snowflake and added some clear glitter*.
Then tied it up with ribbon and cellophane.
Tied on the gift tag with bakers twine*.
A cute little plate to give out!
