The idea of the 12 days of Christmas is to spread
out the merriment by giving one
gift a day for twelve days.
The gifts can be any
smaller items:

Each of the small gifts gets wrapped separately
and numbered for each of the 12 days,
then put into a larger gift bag.

Print the tag on white cardstock and mount
to the front of a Christmas gift bag.
Download daily gift tags here, print on white cardstock.
On the gift tags, write a small verse
like the 12 days of Christmas song.
For example- "On the 1st day of Christmas
my true love gave to me
some socks for my feet."
After the gift is wrapped, tie on a tag with the number
of the day it should be opened.
Get your free printable daily numbers here,
which can be punched out with
a 1 inch circle punch.
Repeat with all of the gifts and put all of them
into the gift bag and
it's ready to give!
