How to make Felt Easter Treat and Flatware Holders

For only a few dollars and an hour you can have decor for your Easter table with these easy sew Easter Treat and Flatware Holders.  

When you are decorating your table for Easter, you'll want something to cute to jazz it up.  I saw the cutest carrot and egg flatware holders at Target, but there weren't enough in stock for my family to all get one.  They say necessity is the mother of convention no, that's not how the saying goes, it's invention, right?  Well whatever the saying is, the point - I had to figure out how to make them.  And I did.  And I'm passing it on to you.  You're welcome!  :)

Supplies to make Easter Felt Pouches

• 2mm felt sheets
• pattern  egg holder, carrot holder
• sharp scissors
• sewing machine

To make the egg holder, download and print the pattern.  Then cut it out. 

Cut out the egg shape from thick felt. Using very sharp scissors to makes it easier.

After cutting out the shape, sew around the edges of the egg.

The egg is the perfect thing to hold Easter treats!  It would make a very cute gift as well!

After the egg pouch, I made a carrot pouch as well.  It's long and is perfect for holding flatware.

The carrots make a perfect addition to any Easter table.

The felt pouches make the perfect touch to any Easter table!
