I may have a tiny bit of an addiction . . . to making snow globe jars. Luckily for me, I'm a collector of vases and glassware so I have tons of options. These snow globes could not be easier to make.
How to Make Easy DIY Snow Globes
I just love the look of these snow filled jars that are nostalgic and fun! And of course, since it's a She's Crafty project, they are inexpensive and easy to do.
Supplies needed to make DIY Snow Globes
- glass jars - from thrift store or buy mason jars quart size, pint size, mini size
- iridescent faux snow
- bottle brush trees variety sizes
- craft tweezers
- hot glue gun
Instructions for making DIY Snow Globes
mini jars
- put hot glue onto the bottom of mini tree and place into jar with tweezers
- pour faux snow into jar
- place lid onto jar
- embellish the jar with ribbon and jingle bells
large jars
The large jars are made the same way as the small ones, except the trees do not need to be glued to the glass to prevent them from tipping over.
- place trees into the jar
- pour snow over the top of the trees into the jar
- embellish with twin, ribbon and bells
- Place jars into super cute Christmas vignette where you can see and enjoy them every day!
