Antique Booth Update: What I Took in May & June

It's Summer and the living is easy...  or something like that.  Being an antique booth dealer isn't super easy but it is super fun!  Here are all the things I took to my Antique Booth in May and June

As the seasons shift from spring to summer, I always get the itch to refresh and restyle my antique booths. May and June were full of treasure hunting, rearranging, and bringing in pieces that feel light, fun, and perfect for the warm-weather months. Whether you're a fellow vendor or just love peeking behind the scenes, here's a look at what I brought into my booths over the past couple of months.

Items I took to My Antique Booths in May and June

1. Vintage Red, White and Blue

With Memorial Day and the 4th of July on the horizon, I leaned into red, white, and blue. I brought in flags, Coke products, scout ribbons, blue enamel ware, and framed gingham.   All of these items together gave by booths a nostalgic Americana vibe.

2. Summer Sports

May and June are about fun! I added a bunch of summer sports items like baseballs, croquet mallets and tennis racquets.  I also tucked in a few faux greenery items  for a pop of summer charm.

3. Painted Furniture

I hauled in a couple of small furniture pieces— like a perfectly chippy, white side table, a checkerboard made into a small riser or side table and a distressed red chair. These pieces help anchor the booth and always draw people in.

4. Seasonal Prints & Wall Decor

From framed patriotic prints to sailboats, I included items that help customers freshen up their homes without doing a full overhaul.

5. Vintage Tshirts and Clothing

I took a bunch of vintage Tshirts and other clothing in red white and blue.  I made a display in red white and blue using these shirt racks.

6. Stars

Stars are a classic touch for summer.  In my booth I added some stars made from yardsticks and a star made with tobacco sticks.  These make great statement pieces for a mantle or wall decor.

These past two months have been a whirlwind of fun, and it’s always a joy to see which pieces speak to different people. Summer is a great time for mixing nostalgia with color, and I love curating the booth to match the season. I’ll be back soon with a new batch of finds—and I hope you’ll stop by to see what’s new!
