If you’re looking for a quick and festive way to add some patriotic charm to your home you have come to the right place! I have the perfect SUPER EASY project for you. It is Framed Gingham Fabric July 4th Decor.
Picture this: you have planned the perfect barbeque for the 4th of July. You've planned all of the food, the pool is ready and you've even spent a small fortune on fireworks. But you look around and have no red, white and blue decorations.
Now, some wouldn't even worry about such a thing, but I know you do since you are here. But don't worry, I've got the perfect idea for you. Look no further than your fabric stash! This simple DIY involves framing a piece of red, white, or blue gingham fabric—and the result is a classic, country-inspired decoration that fits right in with your 4th of July celebration. It’s budget-friendly, beginner-friendly, and totally customizable.
Supplies You’ll Need:
- A frame that can either be thrifted, one from your stash or new. I used a thrifted bass frame.
-
Tape or glue
How-To Instructions:
-
Choose Your Frame – Any size works. Frames are super simple to find. 5 x 7 looks great in a grouping and 8x10 or 11x14 are easy to style on the wall or mantels.
-
Cut the Fabric – Trim your gingham fabric to fit the glass or backing of the frame.
-
Mount the Fabric – Glue the fabric to the frame back. You can also wrap the fabric around the frame insert, tape it down and insert it into the frame.
-
Assemble – Put your frame back together and admire that sweet gingham pattern!
-
Style It – Prop it on a shelf, layer it in a gallery wall, or place it on your 4th of July party table.
