I'm really into jewelry lately. And like a good DIY'er, I figured out how to make customized necklace pendants myself. It was super easy. I'm not sure why I didn't do it before now.
I started out with these blank pendants from Hobby Lobby,
and cut this scrap of patterned paper down to fit inside the pendant.
I then used Glossy Accents...
to fill in the entire inside, on top of the paper. I let it dry over night and it set up thick and clear.
I loved it so much, I decided to make a bunch more the same way.
With red polka dot paper and a square pendant blank.
And this one is a circular copper blank. I also used a charm from my scrapbook stash.
For this pendant, I used yellow and white chevron paper and then wrote on some words with a scrapbook pen, before sealing it with the glossy accents.
Anytime I don't have a necklace to match one of my outfits from now on, I'll probably just make a new one!!
