My daughter wears a band in her hair most days.
She has a huge collection, but sometimes she doesn't have a particular color, so that's when we make our own.
The only supplies needed are ribbon in any color (I like to run a lighter over the edge of the ribbon to singe the ends and melt the plastic a bit so it doesn't unravel) and elastic.
It's as simple as forward and back stitching a few times on each side of the elastic.
Super simple!
So just grab some ribbon from your stash and you can have a hairband in just about any color you could want. Plus if you have a giganto sized melon (like me) and can never find hair bands to fit - now you can make your own!!
