My testimony of Jesus Christ #Hallelujah

For the past 2 weeks or so, I have had the opportunity to write many posts about Easter.  How awesome is it that I (along with many other bloggers) have had the opportunity to combine blogging with talking about the Gospel.

It's been such a blessing in my life!

Let me tell you why.  I've been a member of the LDS church my entire life, but I think I've been kind of lazy and not really internalized many things.

Easter being one of them.

I have always known about the Atonement and Christ's sacrifice.  But, I haven't studied either like I should have.  The past 2 weeks, with the #Hallelujah campaign, I've done more studying and pondering than ever before.

In church last week, our Bishop challenged us to share our testimonies of Christ with those around us.  So today that's what I'm going to do, share my testimony with my blogging friends.

First of all, please watch this beautiful message about Jesus Christ from the LDS church.  It's called #Hallelujah,  which means "Praise ye the Lord," in Hebrew.

I believe that Jesus Christ is our Savior, and that he paid the price for our sins.  He knows the pains we go through, because He suffered them too.

During his short life, He was perfect and set the example for us.  He died on the cross and was resurrected 3 days later. He lives.  He loves us. If we love him too, we need to be the best we can be.  We need to love others, serve and strive to be like Him.

In closing, I'd like to share the following:  it is a viral sing along with The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square.  They perform the Hallelujah chorus, along with many others singing along.

Happy Easter to you and yours!  May the Lord's blessings be upon you this season and always!
