Today I'm sharing a
thrift store makeover
metal box succulent container.
Every time I'm at the thrift store
and find something I love,
I pick it up and find a use for it later.
My husband is very patient with my hoarding tendencies
and our FULL garage! :)
As I was recently perusing my stash,
I found these metal file boxes.
I picked them up a few months ago at our local thrift store,
Goodwill, for about $1 each.
I was excited to figure out something to do with them.
I thought they would make a
lovely container for a plant.
I found this cute succulent planter at Aldi.
You know I love me some Aldi!
For drainage, I put some rocks into
the bottom of the metal boxes.
Then I added some potting soil.
Then I did the best part,
I placed the succulents into the metal boxes.
