Today I have an easy and inexpensive project to help you decorate your Christmas Tree-
A red, white and green felt Christmas Tree Garland
I looked for ages to find the perfect colorful Christmas Tree Garland to go on my tree, but could not find one that I liked that was in my budget.
Well of course, since I'm a crafter, I decided I could make one myself.
I bought 12 felt sheets from the craft store.
I stacked 2 pieces together and cut them into 1 inch by 3 inch pieces using a rotary cutter, ruler and cutting mat.
It worked best to stack 2 different colors together. It made it much easier to grab them for the next step.
Those 12 sheets cut up made piles and piles of felt strips.
I stacked 3 various colors together and sewed them with my sewing machine. I like the hand made look so the stacks were sloppy and mismatched.
12 sheets of felt sewn together made about a 22 foot garland.
That's 22 feet of colorful Christmas Tree goodness for $3.
The colors are so easily customized to fit any decor theme!
