April was all about fresh starts and spring vibes at my antique booth! As the weather warmed up, I focused on bringing in cheerful, seasonally inspired pieces—from floral linens to rustic garden décor. Whether shoppers were looking to freshen up their homes or add a bit of vintage charm to their spring displays, I wanted to make sure my booth felt bright, inviting, and full of character. Here’s a look at what I stocked this month!

Featured Antique Booth Finds for March and April

I have 3 booths in 2 different antique malls in Murfreesboro, TN.  I have been an antiques dealer for almost 4 years.  I Love doing it so much!!

Four Sisters Antiques and Vintage

Four Sisters is such an awesome antique mall.  There are so many booths with so many vendors that it offers something for everyone.  You can find Four Sisters at 1056 Seals Way in Murfreesboro, TN.

I found this shelf and gave it a fresh coat of this glorious green color!  It is the perfect potting shelf for Spring.

I also gave this little thrifted side table a fresh coat of that same green paint!

Basket Display in antique booth.

Since it was Easter, I added lots of baskets and fillers like stuffed eggs, carrots and bunnies.

Glass mushrooms made from thrifted glass.

Since I'm loving all things mushroom, I took a few of the glass mushrooms I made.

Spring display with wooden mushrooms and clay pots.

Those little wooden mushrooms were super popular.  I found a pack of them unpainted in various sizes.  I gave the tops a coat of red, green, yellow, red and brown.  I polka dotted a few and then covered them all with topcoat.

I expanded by booth a few feet at Four Sisters.  I was able to place this shelf in the new spot and fill it up with all the pretty things!  It's perfect!

Working at Four Sisters antiques and vintage.

The biggest thing that happened in the past few months is that I started working 1 day a week at Four Sisters.  It is such a fun place to work.  I get to meet new people, interact with the community and see all of the fun things people are buying!

Hylabrook Antique Mall

This year I have expanded my booth at Hylabrook to take on another one.  In the last few months I have made one of those booths a clothing booth.  I have been loving hunting for the perfect pieces that I can then display and sell in my booth.

I wanted to make this booth look more like a clothing boutique.  So I added lots of character with display pieces.  These shirt display holders are lightweight yet sturdy enough to showcase a pair of Tshirts.

To go with the boutique look, I made a bunch of signs on thrifted chalkboards.  Underneath the chalkboards I displayed a bunch of hats and bags.

Clothing displayed in repurposed armoire.

I updated an old armoire with paint and a wooden bar to use as a display piece.  I love the look of using furniture to add a more polished look.  I think having uniform velvet hangers makes a big statement as well.

Remember how popular these letter boards were?  I loved them.  And now they are perfect to display prices or sassy quotes in my clothing booth.

I devoted one of the shelf pieces in my booth to accessories.  I strung some white strand lights to add some pizazz and light to the shelves.  I then displayed the handbags on risers and in containers.  I displayed belts on ironstone plates.  I used a mug tree to display scarves.

I brought in this old crusty shoe cobbler rack that I found at an estate sale.  It had been stored outside so it was filthy and covered with sap from a pine tree.  I scraped and sanded it for hours before applying several coats of topcoat to seal it.  Now it is the perfect display piece for Tshirts.

In my booth next door I display vintage linens hanging on the wall and placed in the cubbies of this huge shelf.

The things that sold the best for me in March and April were:
  • vintage Readers Digest books with beautiful colors
  • unusual figurines
  • brass
  • vintage cookbooks
  • quilts
  • interesting Tshirts
  • mushrooms
  • wooden lamps

In May I am going to take in patriotic items in red, white and blue, summer camp theme (like tennis rackets and croquet mallets), fruit and anything else fun and interesting I find!

Being an antiques dealer is almost a full time job because of the time it takes to hunt, clean, paint, wash and care for all of my pieces.  But I love it so much so it really doesn't feel like a job!  Thank you for checking out my Spring Time Finds in My Antique Booth for March and April!
