End of the Month- August Favorites and Inspiration

Here we are on the last day of August.

Don't you think August was the longest,
yet quickest month ever?

Today I am looking back over August

and sharing my monthly favorites and inspiration.

The biggest thing that happened

to our family in August

was that my son was injured playing football.

He has a 2nd degree tear

of the MCL in his knee.

So he definitely can't play football,

and right now he can't even walk.

He started his senior year in a wheelchair.
Luckily he has a super cute sister that goes to
his same school and can push him around.

School started a week after

Mason's injury, so since he is unable to drive,

I've spent lots and lots of time

in the car driving everyone

to and from school and their various activities.

as a gift.  I don't think I've ever
had real knives before.
This set is amazing!
Chopping veggies is my favorite past time now.

I just finished reading the book

It was so good!
Rachel Hollis is an entertaining author
and drops some truth bombs.

My favorite lip gloss is
*Nyx butter gloss in Praline
I don't like a heavy lip color and
this one is light.
It also moisturizes my lips.

Bath and Body Works fall scents

Fall is my favorite time to buy
products top make my home smell good.
These 3 are amazing!
