After a long and W E T winter, I am ready for Spring! I think spring temps are several weeks away,
but I couldn't wait to freshen up my decor! I'm ready for greens and bright colors!
How to make a Spring Wall Hanger with rainbow pom poms.
I used a pom pom maker to make these pom poms. Here is a tutorial for how to use one.
Supplies needed to make Rainbow Pom Poms and Paper Cone Hanger:
rotary cutting tool & self healing mat
branches gathered from yard
Follow instructions in above tutorial for making pom poms.
Glue pom poms to the top of branches using a hot glue gun.
To make the cone: cut down a piece of Kraft poster board to a 15" x 15" square.
Roll one corner around until you have a cone shape.
Then cut a paper lace doilies in half and glue them around the top of the cone.
I used greenery from Trader Joes for filler for my cone.
To make the cone able to hang, I punched a hole and tied it with twine.
I tied rainbow colored ribbons to the side of the cone. Then I added the pom pom sticks.
Spring Rainbow Pom Pom Wall Hanging
is an easy and fun project that is very inexpensive since it uses many products that can be found in a typical craft stash! This would also be a great craft to do with your children!
