I love giving handmade and unique gift ideas for Christmas. I know the big day is coming up soon, VERY SOON, but have no fear, there is still time to whip up a few last minute gifts.
Photo Calendar
This easy photo calendar can be put together in one evening with items you probably have on hand. I used some scrap wood to make the base and made a photo calendar with pictures of my family. I often give photo calendars to family for Christmas and they are always a hit!
Boxwood Wreath
This boxwood wreath is another item that can be whipped up in a few hours. It dries so pretty and is a great gift for the person who has everything! Even if you don't have boxwood bushes at your house, you can use just about any other bush clippings to make following the same steps. You could also make a similar evergreen wreath.
Riser with a Plant or Candle
These risers would make a great DIY gift that you can make super easily and quickly. Add a cute house plant or candle and you are in business with a great gift that anyone would like.
Travel Box
An Artza Box is the perfect thing to give to the person in your life that loves travel and/or loves hand crafted unique items. It's a beautiful gift box full of items sourced locally in Israel.
Check out the website to read about the artisans they support and to get a box for anyone on your gift list.
Treat Basket
What about putting together a basket with the favorite treats of the person your gifting to? I love candy and would LOVE getting a basket with lots of treats.
Hot Chocolate basket
This is an oldie but a goodie because everyone loves hot chocolate this time of year. Purchase a couple of mugs, some hot cocoa mix, marshmallows and candy canes. Put it all in a cute basket or even a gift bag and you have a quick and easy gift.
Movie Basket
This is another oldie but goodie - grab some microwave popcorn, movie theater treats, a couple of sodas and a copy of a favorite movie (or Netflix suggestions for movie because isn't that how everyone watches movies these days) and put it all in a popcorn bucket or large bowl. Wrap it in cellophane with a big bow and you have a great gift!
Homemade Treats
Treats that you make with love with your own 2 hands are always a welcome gift. I have a few things that I love to gift year after year. These are some of my favorites.
- microwave caramels
- Gooey Chex Mix
- Jar of Salsa (I use this recipe) and tortilla chips
- cookie plate
Take a Deep Breath and Relax. With these 8 Last Minute Christmas Gift Ideas you still have time to get and/or make your loved ones a thoughtful gift!
