Vintage Colorful Farmhouse Christmas Home Tour

I'm so excited to share this with you!
I wish I could invite you all
over for a cup of hot chocolate
as we listen to Christmas carols and
chat by the Christmas tree!

But since that's just not possible,
grab yourself a beverage
and enjoy my
Vintage Colorful Farmhouse
Christmas Home Tour!

Welcome and come on in!

This year for my Christmas decor,
I decided to go with a
colorful vintage theme!

Red is my favorite color so I am super excited
to use it around my home this season!

For my Christmas Tree,
I stuck to the basics.
Red, white and green painted glass ornaments

I wrote the lyrics to my favorite Christmas hymn
on a chalk board and put it between
windows from my mom's old house.

Everyone in my family chose a different stocking
from our collection for this year.
I love the way they look at mismatched and cozy
hanging together.

For my gray cabinet,
I used all sorts of vintage goodness!

I found all of the vintage Santa's this year.
They look great all together above the cabinet.

This colorful vintage vignette is so much fun!

On the other side of the Living Room is
our picture ledge shelves decorated
with various nativities.
Underneath is a farm bucket with greens.
Next to the front door
is a vintage sled and our Santa Mailbox.

The mailbox is a perfect place to put
letters to Santa!

Next to the door is this display.

I made a snow globe vase
with a car from my husband's childhood.

Next moving on to the Dining Room.
I tied wreaths to the center chairs
and stuck greenery and snowflakes onto the chandelier.

I kept the table setting simple
with white plates, colored
napkins and candy canes arranged in a heart.
I used various candles and candlesticks
for the centerpiece.

I pulled out a bunch of candlesticks from
my stash and added them to our
farmhouse table centerpiece.

I made the Christmas pennants several years ago
from felt and fabric paint.

On our shelves I used jars full of
Christmas fun: vintage ornaments,
mini trees, candy canes and marshmallows.
I even added some Cadberry balls
to my vintage gumball machine.
The box holds various Christmas dishes.

The kitchen shelves got a little bit of Christmas love.

I added some greens to a bowl,
some vintage cookie cutters in
a vintage jar
and a Christmas cutting board
to my produce holder.

Even the top of the fridge got a little bit
of Christmas cheer with vintage thermos's
and a mini Christmas tree.

I hope you can use some of these ideas to
decorate your home!
Remember that it's never a waste
to spend your energy (and money)
to make your house a comfy home
for you and your family!
