This is it, the season we have been waiting for . . . FALL! It is hands down the best time of year in my opinion. After a hot and humid summer, the cooler temps and dry air is so welcome. Add in the changing color of the beautiful leaves, the pumpkins, the baking, the sweaters and boots, the soups ... I am here for all of it!
4 Fall Vintage Vignettes
Orange is not normally a color I decorate with so that is something I love adding for fall! This year when I pulled out my fall bin full of decorations, I found a ton of pumpkins that I had forgotten about. So PUMPKINS {and of course vintage} are the theme of my fall décor this year.
Living Room Hutch Pumpkin Display
This hutch in my living room has been painted so many different colors. The latest color of white has made it such a fun neutral place to decorate. Since I had a bunch of pumpkins in my stash, augmented by a few I found at Dollar Tree, I decided to have a pumpkin palooza here.
I placed a bunch of pumpkins in a vintage green tackle box. Isn't it just the best color? I also planted some faux pumpkins on various candle sticks and spools.
This long wooden cubby holds many fabric and glitter pumpkins. Outside of it, I displayed one of my hand made signs.
At the bottom, I put my collection of vintage books to use holding various pumpkins.
I just love all of the colors and textures of the pumpkins on this hutch!

Pumpkin Sign on a Side Table
On this chippy side table, I started by layering vintage white shutters. Then I hung a personalized pumpkin sign. This is a sign was inspired to make after seeing something similar on Instagram.
The weather is starting to get cool in the evenings, so I keep a pile of throw blankets on the bottom shelf of this table.

Hardware Cabinet
As always, my green hardware cabinet is one of my favorite places to decorate. The color is just such a great shade of green! On top of the cabinet I layered a bunch of fun stuff to bring colors and texture to this space.
I hung a fall berry wreath on one of the windows layered in this vignette. This window is special to me because it came from my mom's house. I love that it has sentimental value. In front of the window I placed a vintage metal box, layered some books on top and finished it off with an ironstone bowl full of cinnamon pumpkins. I'll do a post about the pumpkins soon.
On this side, I placed a wooden riser that I made. Underneath the riser I situated some faux pumpkins and a real one too. On top of the riser is a vase full of handmade sunflowers that add some soft, rustic texture.

Wooden Shelves
This is another spot I was excited to break out the fall décor. Since I hung these shelves last month, I have changed up the decorations several times. This is another spot that I chose to do a pumpkin theme and throw in some vintage too.
On the top shelf, I placed some real mini pumpkins on candles sticks, backed the shelf with metal platters and placed a fun printable in a wooden holder.
The second shelf holds a vintage scale and a pumpkin soup tureen. I also placed some of my beloved pothos plants in metal pots on top of the shelf.
On the bottom shelf, I backed this space with vintage metal plates. In front of them, I placed vintage jars filled with candy pumpkins. Then I centered a handmade wooden sign.
